Farmers’ Market

GRAND BLANC — The Grand Blanc Farmers Markets will resume Wednesday, June 12, at the Grand Chalet Shoppes, 131 E. Grand Blanc Rd. Market hours are 3-8 p.m. Markets will take place weekly through Oct. 9.

Vendors will bring flowers, soap, skincare products, art, cleaning products, home décor, jewelry, breads, desserts, smoothies, lemonade, bubble tea, and more. Food trucks will be on site. — L.R.

Fun Fest

GRAND BLANC — The Grand Blanc Chamber of Commerce will present the annual Family Fun Fest from Thursday, June 13, to Sunday, June 16, at Grand Blanc High School. Rides, games, food, entertainment, face painting.

Hours are 4-8 p.m. Thursday; 12-5 p.m. and 4-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and noon-6 p.m. Sunday. Children younger than 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult after 7 p.m.

Admission: $5 per person and each purchase includes a $5 ride voucher. — L.R.

Pancake breakfast

GRAND BLANC — Masonic Lodge 571 will host a pancake breakfast from 8-11 a.m. Saturday, June 15, at the lodge, 522 E. Grand Blanc Rd. Pancakes, eggs, sausage and beverages. Donations accepted. — L.R.

Corgi Club meetup is June 9

GRAND BLANC — The Michigan Corgi Club will hold its June 2024 meetup at the Grand Blanc Dog Park, 1505 E. Grand Blanc Rd., on Sunday, June 9 from noon-1:30 p.m.

Corgis of all colors and sizes can be found in the small side of the dog park at that time.

Family Fun Friday

GAINES — The 3rd annual Family Fun Friday will take place from 5:30-8 p.m. Friday, June 7, at Gaines Elementary School, 300 W. Lansing St. Open to the public.

Bounce houses, Magic Steve balloon artist, Gaines Fire Department fire trucks, Morey Farms tractors and a petting zoo (weather permitting).

Craft and Vendor Show

MUNDY TWP. — The Vocational Independence Program will host a craft and vendor show from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, June 8, at 5069 Van Slyke Rd. Admission is free. Shop local crafters and vendors. Makers Market

SWARTZ CREEK — Jeepers Creekers will sponsor a Makers Market from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, in Holland Square in downtown Swartz Creek.

The theme will be “Go Green” and there will be a plant exchange and children’s area where kids can plant a sunflower to take home for free. Handmade/homemade crafters, foods and food trucks. — L.R.

Rummage sale

GAINES TWP. — The Mother Teresa Group of St. Mary/St. Joseph Church, 121145 Ray Road, will host a white elephant rummage sale from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday, June 13 through Saturday, June 15, to benefit the needs of the community.

Donations may be dropped off from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. Monday, June 10; and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, and Wednesday, June 12. No clothes.

Summer Soiree

MUNDY TWP. — A Summer Soiree will take place at 6 p.m. Friday, June 14, at Mundy Miracle Commons, to kick off the capital campaign for the Regional Accessibility and Wellness Center and future home of Area 13 Special Olympics.

Cornhole fundraiser

FLINT TWP. — Amp It Up Team Sherry will sponsor a cornhole fundraiser at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 15, at Rayburn Real Estate, 5121 Flushing Rd.

The 11th annual fundraiser will raise money for ice machine rental and other comfort items for cancer patients in treatment, in memory of Sherry Czerwinski. The goal is to provide two years’ rental for Genesys Hurley Cancer Institute.

Raffles, music, cash prizes. $50 team entry. Bring stadium chairs, food, drink.
