Nancy Elizabeth (Bach) Mazur


 

 

NANCY ELIZABETH (BACH) MAZUR, 77, of Davison, MI, passed away Monday, June 6, 2022. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2022 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 North Dayton Street, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Fr. Carl Simon celebrant. Interment immediately following the Mass in St. John Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 1-3 and 5-8 p.m. Friday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423 and one hour prior to Mass on Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. A Rosary will be prayed 6 p.m. Friday followed by a Memorial Service conducted under the auspices of the Daughters of Isabella Regina Coeli Circle Davison #1095 at Allen Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Breast Cancer Society or Charity of one’s choice or Masses.

Nancy was born in Flint, MI on April 15, 1945 daughter of the late Joseph and Florence (Clint) Bach. She was a graduate of St. Michael Catholic High School Class of 1964. Nancy married John Mazur on August 1, 1970 and he preceded her in death on December 29, 2017. She retired as a Certified Nursing Assistant in 2004, after working at both Flint Osteopathic Hospital and Ascension Genesys Hospital. Nancy was an active member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, St. John Altar Society, St. John Celebration Choir, St. John Resurrection Choir, St. John Fifty (50) and Over Club, Daughters of Isabella Regina Coeli Circle Davison #1095, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Women’s Guild and The Red Hat Society. She enjoyed camping, dancing and loved listening to Elvis. Nancy also enjoyed going to the Burton Senior Center to play Bingo and other activities.

Nancy is survived by two children, Tammy (Mike) Moore and James Mazur; three grandchildren, Travis (DaviLee) Ames, Aaron and Allison Moore; three great-grandchildren, Sarah Schieber, Carson and Mason Ames; two siblings, Marian Chron and John (Mary Alice) Bach; sister-in-law, Catherine Whitebread and brother-in-law, Edward Mazur; many nieces, nephews, other loving family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Florence Bach; husband, John Mazur; two sisters-in-law, Donna Bach and Delores Mazur.
