American Cancer Society benefit performance
FLINT — The Flint School of Performing Arts presents Will Dance for Change 6:30 p.m. May 23 at the University of Michigan- Flint Theatre.

The performance will include several student-choreographed pieces by FSPA modern dance students between the ages of 10-27. The showcase is designed as a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. The featured dances were created by the students as a means to raise cancer awareness within the community.

Fit camp for kids
DAVISON — Davison Community Enrichment and Recreation hosts the Super Fun Fit Camp for Kids 9 a.m.-noon, Monday-Friday for six weeks beginning June 16.

The camp is open to children ages 7-12 and is instructed by Master John Lyle at PKSA Karate Club. Activities will include strength and endurance training, karate, kickboxing, self defense, board breaking, ninja days, park and sport days, and meal planning.

Cost for the program is $50 a week, with a 10 percent discount if the six week camp is paid in full. To register, call Davison Area Senior Center at 810-591-0177. — A.S.

CPR and first aid class
DAVISON — An American Red Cross CPR and first aid course is available 4-7 p.m. on Mondays from June 2-16.

The course will teach participants how to recognize and treat breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants. It also will instruct how to perform basic first aid for injuries and sudden illnesses until medical professionals are available.

American Red Cross adult, child and infant CPR and first aid certificates are issued to participants who complete the course.

The class is open to those ages 14 and older. The cost for the class is $60. To register, call the Davison Area Senior Center at 810-591-0177. — A.S.
