Alexander E. Kosha


 

 

ALEXANDER E. KOSHA, 83, of Burton, MI, passed away Friday, January 13, 2023, at Ascension Genesys Hospital. A Funeral Service was held 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 3222 South Genesee Road, Burton, MI 48519; Pastor Mark Matheny officiating. Interment immediately followed the service in Crestwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Grand Blanc. The family received visitors 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423 and 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at Pilgrim Lutheran Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Pilgrim Lutheran Church, in Alexander’s memory.

Alexander was born in Caro, Michigan on April 28, 1939, son of the late Sandor and Mary (Molnar) Kosha. He married Gail Malinda Renshaw on October 22, 1960. She preceded him in death on June 7, 1996. He later married Emily Worth and she preceded him in death on November 1, 2008. Alexander retired from General Motors (AC Spark Plug) as a journeyman pipefitter in 2000 with 42 years of service. He was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Burton. Alexander enjoyed cruising in his 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air and enjoying his pontoon on Houghton Lake. Alexander was passionate about collecting and splitting firewood for his wood burning stove. He cherished his time hunting and fishing with his children and grandchildren and spending time with his many friends.

Alexander is survived by three children, Janet Beaulieu, Paul (Diana) Kosha and Katherine Kosha-Scott; very special friend, Cynthia Stevens; six grandchildren, Kyle (Kandis) Kosha, Sean (Courtney) Kosha, Amber Kosha, Amanda (Kyler) Lambing, Justin Beaulieu and Jacob Scott; two great-grandchildren, Audrey Kosha and Hattie Kosha; two brothers, Ronald (Karen) Kosha and Gary Kosha; many other loving family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, spouses and son-in-law, John Beaulieu.
