RICHFIELD TWP. — Pegge Adams (D-Otisville) will face David Martin (R-Davison) to hold onto her 9th District Genesee County Commissioner seat after a strong showing against primary challenger Brian Norman. RICHFIELD TWP. — There was no upset in the race for supervisor as incumbent Joe Madore defeated challenger Adam Thrash, 647-191, during the Aug. 2 primary election. Also re-elected, and unchallenged, were Clerk Terri Webber, 751 votes, Treasurer Debbie Buterakos, 733, Trustee Gerald Masters, 662, and Trustee Keith Pyles, 582.
