Fall Family Festival & Trunk-R-Treat

DAVISON — On Oct. 25, from 6-8 p.m., the members of Trinity Lutheran Church will host a Trunk-R-Treat event as part of their annual Fall Family Festival at 706 West Flint St. in Davison.

Children and their families are invited to join us for cider and donuts, children’s train rides, candy, games, contests and prizes, plus a live drama skit. It’s a free, safe and fun time for all ages. Open to the public. Be sure to invite your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers!

Fundraiser dinner to be held for Motherly Intercession

DAVISON TWP. — Motherly Intercession will host its annual fundraiser dinner at the Davison Knights of Columbus on November 10th.

This organization was founded in the Genesee County Jail in 1999, and has touched the lives of children of incarcerated parents through its programming, i.e. tutoring, summer camp, life skills to name a few.

In an effort to raise the funds needed to continue to provide its programs and services, Motherly Intercession will hold its “I determine My Destiny” fundraising dinner, Nov. 10, at the Davison Knights of Columbus Hall, 8428 E. Davison Rd.

Doors will open at 4 p.m. and the event starts promptly at 5 p.m. Plans for the evening include: guest appreciation door prize, entertainment by Stephenie Monear, “Essential Piece” Honoree Ceremony, Deals and Steals silent auction and a catered buffet mean by Sandi’s Elegant Catering.

Eagles to hold Nightmare Trail

RICHFIELD TWP. — The Nightmare Trail at the Davison Fraternal Order of Eagles, 3270 N. State Rd., will be held Oct. 19-20 and 26-27, from dusk to 11 p.m. The Davison Eagle Riders invite the public to take a ride on the Slaughter Wagon to the trail entering the haunted woods. It’s there you’ll experience the reality of your worst nightmares.

Cost is $13 per person, or $10 with three non-perishable food items. Beverages will be available in the pavilion, all proceed go to local charities. — G.G.

Ming’s Magnificent Magic Show

DAVISON — The Davison Area Library, 203 Fourth St., will present Ming’s Magnificent Magic Show on Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. The whole family will be spellbound by the mesmerizing Ming Louie. — G.G.
