Victorian tea at the K of C

DAVISON TWP. — The Daughters of Isabella of Davison Circle #1095 will host its 2nd annual Victorian Tea Party on Sept. 16 from 3-5 p.m. It will take place at the Knights of Columbus Hall- Davison, 8428 E. Quilts & More Sale at Trinity Lutheran Church

DAVISON — There will be a Quilts & More Sale at Trinity Lutheran Church, 706 W. Flint St., on Sept. 22 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Admission is $1 and door prizes will be given every hour. You must be present to win. The Evening Star Quilters Guild is sponsoring the event. They will also hold a Quilt Raffle. Tickets will be sold one day only, $1 a piece or 6 for $5. There will be a bake sale, many items for sale by Quilters for Quilters, quilting supplies and a variety of handmade items and other crafts. — G.G.

Pumpkin Festival scheduled Oct. 12-13 Robotics Club adds new event

DAVISON — Save the date for the 2018 Davison Trunk or Treat/Pumpkin Festival Oct. 12-13. The planning committee is working with the Davison Robotics Club to bring another new event to the Festival, Oct 13.

The "Kreation Station" will be a robot building activity made from recycled items. They are looking for items to use like bottle caps, buttons, old keys, paper toweland toilet paper rolls, corks, clean tin cans and other items to build these robots.

You can drop off your cleaned recycle items at City Hall south entrance between the doors in the designated box. — G.G.
