Lady Cards take down Midland Dow

Davison scored two in the second and two in the sixth, while Midland’s lone run of the early game came in the fifth.

Morgan Deckrow went the distance, giving up four hits, one run and four walks. Deckrow also led offensively, going 2-for-2 with an RBI and a walk. Ally Earns had one hit, one RBI and one run. Maren Blanchard, Emily Meyer, Ashley Kish and Ann Minto added a hit each.

In the night cap, Davison scored five in the first, four in the second and seven in the third. Midland Dow added one in the third and one in the fourth. Deckrow earned the win, striking out three and surrendering seven hits and two runs.

Earns was 4-for-4 from the plate with an RBI and two runs. Deckrow drove in five runs on two hits. Mikayla Oryszsack was 2-for-3. Bella Yelle had one run, one RBI, one hit and one walk. Carlee Allard added an RBI and two runs. Emily Meyer scored three times and added a run and two walks. Blanchard crossed home twice, had one hit and two walks.

Davison, 10-3, hosted Brandon on Wednesday following press deadlines and is at the Kearsley tournament on Saturday.
