Davison UMC hosts Betsy’s Bazaar, organ concert

Davison United Methodist Church will be bustling with activity on Saturday, Oct. 7.

First, the Davison United Methodist Women will host Betsy’s Bazaar and Marketplace from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In addition to sale of gently used items, the marketplace will include Rada Knives, a Christmas booth, garden gate, books, stitchery and a variety of paper goods.

Of course, highlights of the items include the many baked goods, pecans and a cookie walk!

The DUMW will also put on a luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., which is always hit.

Later in the day, at 7 p.m., the DUMC music department will host an organ concert featuring the American Guild of Organist’s Flint Chapter.

The concert will last about 45 minutes, with refreshments afterward. Admission is free, but donations are welcome.

Davison United Methodist Church is located at the corner of Main and East Third Street in downtown Davison.

Profits from Betsy’s Bazaar fund missions around the world. For more information, call 810-653-7272. DUMC is a barrier-free building, so everyone is invited.
