DDA gives thanks to fair attendees

The Davison DDA would like thank everyone who came out to make the 3rd Annual Davison Art /Music /Food Fair on Saturday July 8th another successful event downtown.

The many vendors showed their wonderful artistic talents from Paintings and Drawings, Custom Portraitures, Local book authors, recycled metal art, poetry, beautiful handmade jewelry, crafts, Fresh Tortilla chips, beaded jewelry and hair accessories, Lu La Roe dealers, Matilda Jane clothing, Shabby Chic furniture, Lipsence, Handmade wood signs, Hand dyed fabrics and much more. Artists & Musicians came from Lapeer, Davison, Burton, Fenton, Grand Blanc, Flint and surrounding area.

The music was wonderful and the local musicians proves that Davison and the surrounding area is full of great musical Talent! The Musical entertainment started with young Musicians Jazam, locals Stu Selesky & Professor Joe Wright, Looking Up, James Robert Christian Rock Band and finished the day with Bluegrass music from the Jim Albert Trio. The music came together and sounded great thanks to Ken Kelts with his professional sound equipment and expertise. The kids had a lot of fun at the craft tent painting rocks, drawing with sidewalk chalk art, making pipe cleaner jewelry and critters. The painted rock scavenger hunt was fun for all.

Special Thanks to our Sponsors who made this event possible: 67th District Judge Jennifer Manley, ReMax Real Estate Team Ryan Eashoo, Hank Graff Chevrolet Davison and Superior Travel Inc.. Volunteers are always the valuable people behind the scenes that makes it all happen: Thanks to Cameron Hunt, Stephanie Hunt, Carrie Dudek, Lesley Howie of I Heart Davison, Pat Stetson, Doug & Holly Hallibicky, DCER, DPW, Living Grace Community Church, Wireless Repair Zone plus Donations and cooperation from Downtown and local businesses Palace Jewelers, 3:20 Lighthouse Café and L & M Landshaping.
