King’s new home in Davison is the third work/live development to be completed by Genesee County Habitat for Humanity. The development, which features a family coaching office on the first floor and a living space on the second floor, will provide King with an affordable, no-interest mortgage and the opportunity to own her own business.

The house is located at 421 N. State St. in Davison.

At the dedication, community members joined King and Genesee County Habitat for Humanity in celebrating the completion of the renovated work/live development, which was originally built more than 100 years ago.

As a part of the Habitat Homeownership Program, King has completed 250 sweat equity hours, working on both her home and the homes of other Habitat Homeowner Partners. King is committed to the social service industry and will continue to support those in need through her family coaching business.
