Publicom wins Best of Show award

Photo provided EAST LANSING — Publicom Inc., a full-service marketing communications firm, won a national Best of Show award and 14 national creative awards, in the 13th annual Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAA) competition, the most of any agency in Michigan.

The Best of Show winning entry was a capabilities brochure created for Michigan Orthopedic Center, Lansing. The other winning entries were created for Allegan General Hospital, McLaren Flint, McLaren Greater Lansing, McLaren Lapeer Region and McLaren Macomb.

“While our goal is always to provide our clients with the most effective marketing possible, it is gratifying to be judged and recognized by our peers,” said Lisa O’Connor, president of Publicom. “Because Publicom’s specialty is service industry marketing, we are honored by these 14 national SIAA awards and in particular by earning one of only five Best of Show Awards.”

Publicom’s work was judged against more than 1,700 entries from more than 500 advertising agencies and more than 750 institutions in this year’s competition. Entries were scored based on execution, creativity, quality, consumer appeal and overall breakthrough advertising content.
