Concerts coming up at The Machine Shop

FLINT — The Machine Shop, 3539 S. Dort Hwy., Flint, will hold a free concert with Kid Coma and more at 7 p.m. Aug. 20.

The club will feature Rockabilly Night at 7 p.m. on Aug. 21. On Aug. 24 is Cavo, Shaman’s Harvest, Black Sunshine and Atom Smash at 7 p.m.

Country-western fun at Wild Spurs

GRAND BLANC — Wild Spurs, part of The Jewel Entertainment Complex, at 5270 Perry Rd., features live bands Friday and Saturday nights. Friday nights are country music and Saturday’s are rock and roll.

Harp Care and Tuning Workshop

FLINT — Come learn the basics of harp maintenance and care with FSPA harp instructor Brittany DeYoung, Aug. 25, 10 a.m.-noon.

She will cover a wide range of topics including a brief history of the harp, how to clean and care for your harp, and much more.

Cost is $25 per individual or per student/parent combination.
