DAVISON — The Muttsy Mission For Alzheimer’s Rummage Sale is 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Davison Free Methodist Church on Flint St. (Due to construction, attendees need to enter on the south side of the building.)

The sale will include a large selection of new gift items, collectibles, accessories, linens, office supplies, sports items, toys, books, games, accessories, novelties, Christmas decorations, a laptop, scanner, printers and other household items. Most items are not priced. A donation is the price, and attendees are encouraged to give generously for the cause.

In addition to the rummage sale, families who have a loved one with Alzheimer’s are invited to come and receive a Muttsy for their loved one. Muttsys are free to those with Alzheimer’s. Muttsys, made by Gund, are nearly 24-inches long and retail for $40. The stuffed animals, which are soft cuddly dogs, have brought countless hours of comfort to more than 2,500 people afflicted with Alzheimer’s since the program began in 1997.
